Dr Jens Vanbiervliet is an orthopaedic surgeon at Jan Yperman Hospital and focuses, within the department, on hip disorders. He offers both hip-preserving and hip replacement surgery.

During and after his training Dr Vanbiervliet authored several scientific papers and is a regular speaker at national and international symposia. He is a member of the Belgian Society for Orthopaedics and Traumatology (BVOT) and the Belgian Hip Society (BHS).
Within EHC he leads the regional hub in Ypres and works from the same philosophy and Hip Coach concept.
